Bring a part you have quoted by hand

The useful part of a demo is not the tour. It is watching the engine price a job whose right price you already know, and finding out where it disagrees with you and whether it can explain itself.

Twenty minutes, one of your own parts, and the numbers you quoted it at.

Other ways to reach us

Before you write

You may not need us. The live demo prices a real part with the real engine, the pricing page shows every plan’s quotas, and the developer documentation is public.

Tell us about your shop

Tell us what you make and how many parts you quote, and we will reply by e-mail.

Sending opens a message in your own e-mail program, addressed to [email protected], with these details in it. We use them to reply to you and for nothing else. What we do with it is written down.

Questions we get before a demo

Do I need a website?

No. Every shop gets a website built around the quote widget, on our address or, on plans that include it, your own domain. There is a hosted quoting page too.

Do I have to change how I price?

No - you have to write down how you price. Most of the set-up conversation is turning things you know into settings, and most shops find at least one thing they had been guessing.

How long does set-up take?

Starting from a worked configuration and swapping in your machines, materials and rates, a first live quote in under a quarter of an hour is what set-up is designed for, though it has not yet been timed with real shops. Getting it to the point where you trust it for everything takes longer, and calibration is the step that does it.

What if you do not price what I make?

Then we will tell you. 13 processes are priced today and the technologies page is explicit about which, and about the ones that go to your review by default. The rest, sheet metal fabrication and cnc routing, are not priced or offered in the widget until they ship.
